Free Activity Days - a success!
The Apollo Youth Centre hosted two days of various activities on the Campus Playing Field in Halesworth. Despite the rain and wind over 60 young people took part over the two days. There were opportunities to play football/dodgeball/four way dodgeball/Tennis/Soft Archery/tag/Power Kiting and more.
The event was run by Go Geronimo who supplied four coaches for the event, one who had actually played at Wimbledon!
On Wednesday the “ Inflatable” football pitch was available and was really enjoyed by those using it. Power kiting was also a great success with three young people being able to control them with great ease.
Hopefully it can become a regular event in the summer holidays.
